Jennifer Rene Psaki

Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She served this role from 2021-2022. A member of Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy communication director (2009-2011) as well as spokesperson for the United States Department of State 2013-2015 as well as the White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki was a contributor to CNN's political coverage from 2017 through 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001 when she worked on the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki became John Kerry's press secretary deputy in 2004. Psaki was also the director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and as regional press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was appointed press secretary for President Obama's 2012 presidential election campaign. In the year 2000, Psaki was appointed the spokesperson for the United States Department of State. The speculations that she would be replacing Jay Carney White House Press secretary after he left the White House[21] were fuelled by her appointment at the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as the replacement of Carney on May 30th in 2014. She was recalled to the White House as Communications Director in the year 2015 and was in place until the end of.
